About Us

Our School

St Joseph's School Fairlie is set on a spacious site in the township of Fairlie, Gateway to the Mackenzie Country.
Our school roll typically fluctuates from between 30 and 50 pupils, so we can boast small class sizes that ensures individual learning pathways are established for each and every child.

St Joseph’s School, Fairlie is a school with special character; we provide a Catholic education for children whose parents choose a Catholic education.

  • Our community has high expectations of children’s learning and behaviour.

  • Our Catholic education embraces the total formation of each individual. It extends the most able students and supports those who require it. We believe in enabling all students to develop their talents to the full.

Our Values

Our values are Faith, Aroha, Respect, and Honesty. These values are central to our teaching and learning programmes, and we expect our students to exhibit and carry these values with them when they move on to high school.
